This effectively allows companies to monitor vehicle compliance across every vehicle in the UK and even whilst abroad. CheckedSafe developed the system so that it can be rolled out across not just Fleet/plant but anything that needs a check the system can be tailored to suit. 

The client base took this on board with many utilising the app and platform for many other area of checking such Health & Safety in the workplace. 

We can highlight one of those companies AE Yates in Bolton a renowned contractor offering Civil Engineering services. They have adopted not only the system for Fleet and Plant but for Health and Safety checks across the workshop encompassing all aspect of H&S in a busy workplace. Checks are completed using the App just as they would use for a vehicle it date and time stamps the check, maps the location of the check and track the time taken and the movement of the person undertaking the check, issues can be raised with jobs to address with a full audit and sign off trail for each check completed. These can be scheduled for weekly/monthly/any period required. The templates were all created by the Workshop Manager who manages the system and is able to tweak the templates as things change. 

Rick Appleby at AE Yates states that this has been a revelation for our business we have piles of paperwork notes everywhere, could not keep track of checks on the workshop, we saw what CheckedSafe had to offer, we sat down with Founder Gary Hawthorne and looked at what we need, within a few days the revolution began we can now check on everything in our depot with the App/store data relating to equipment on the system and even push out guide notes on kit via the app – the reporting tools are good as you can if you produce a detailed report with photos of a H&S audit check for any HSE Officer to check is required.

AE Yates have a whole suite of templates that are specific to the what is actually required rather than a one size fits all. Any issues raised are identified and the Manager is notified immediately and action taken, this is recorded and signed off a perfect solution to meet and  Audit showing clarity and contemporaneous process making sure AE Yates are operating in a safe environment at all times.

They have a passion for compliance facilitating change for the better across all parts of the business.  As an ex-Operator, Gary fully understand the issues at hand and as an Accredited Auditor, knows the challenges companies face daily, along with Darran keeping an eagle eye on the legal aspects of HSE and Fleet Compliance. This has allowed CheckedSafe to develop the product base from an expert knowledge base. After designing  ideas on paper, the Tech Wizards digitise those concepts. This ‘old school’ format allows us to really thrash out the ideas on paper first before committing to the tech stage.
